The Medical Assisting Program at Trinity Global Institute offers a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with the knowledge and skills to pursue a successful career in medical assisting. This one-year academic program combines both theoretical instruction and practical hands-on training to prepare students for entry-level positions in medical offices, clinics, and other healthcare settings. Through a combination of classroom/online learning and on-campus laboratory practice, students will develop expertise in both administrative and clinical aspects of medical assisting, including medical office procedures, anatomy and physiology, clinical procedures, pharmacology, and medical laboratory techniques. Graduates of this program will be well-prepared to provide valuable support to healthcare professionals, deliver high-quality patient care, and contribute to the efficient operation of healthcare facilities.

Medical Assisting is a 9-month diploma program, totaling 890 clock hours. The program consists of 11 courses. Courses are taught both online and as hybrid courses. Online instruction takes place asynchronously – this means students are not required to be logged in at any time of the day or week. Rather, students have the freedom to select the most convenient days and times to participate. Discussion boards will close at the end of each week - after 11:59 p.m. on Sunday evenings and students will be able to view all posts after that time; however, students will not have the ability to make additional posts. Only substantive comments made in the discussion boards will contribute towards a student’s participation grade.
